Privacy Policy - NetPulse WOL: Remote PC Power

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy provides essential information regarding iqraa (“we,” “our,” or “us”) in respect to user information collected through our mobile application, NetPulse WOL: Remote PC Power, and the use of that information.

NetPulse WOL: Remote PC Power is provided as a free application intended for use as is.

1. Local-First Design & Privacy

NetPulse WOL operates 100% locally on your network.

  • No external user tracking: We do not track user activities or behaviors.
  • No user accounts: The application does not require you to create or log into any account.
  • No remote analytics: We do not collect, monitor, or transmit usage statistics or analytics to external servers.
  • Private device profiles: All host configuration files, MAC addresses, IP addresses, port lists, and settings remain stored strictly on your local device hardware.

2. Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, the app may require you to authorize certain device permissions. Any requested information is retained exclusively on your device and is not collected by us in any way:

  • Location Access (Optional): Android requires location permissions (Precise/Approximate Location and/or Background Location) to retrieve the active Wi-Fi SSID. NetPulse WOL uses this information locally to determine if you are connected to a specific Wi-Fi network before triggering Wake-on-LAN packets.
  • Local Storage (Optional): Used for importing or exporting host profile configurations to a JSON file.

3. Third-Party Services

To keep the application stable and reliable, we may use third-party services that collect diagnostic information to identify errors. These services do not collect personal identifying information under our configurations. Links to the privacy policies of these third-party service providers are below:
